I was deeply saddened to hear of the death of Sir Nicholas Grimshaw.
For many years he was not only a loyal client, but also an insightful patron. His brilliant and illuminating intellect shaped every encounter, he was never content with the obvious, always searching out new avenues for expression and investigation, including through the medium of photography. Working alongside him was both a privilege and an education; he challenged you to look harder, think further, and see more. He will be profoundly missed.
